1. Policy on the use of cookies and similar technologies

This policy refers to cookies and similar technologies used, as applicable, on websites and applications operated by TOTTEX IMPEX SRL, with its registered office in Bucharest, Calea Crangasi  no. 23, bl 13, sc 1, ap 28, under the deFlorian brand, hereinafter referred to as deFlorian.

This policy is supplemented by the policy of the website lenjeriidepat.com/deflorian.ro regarding the protection of personal data in general, which you can find in the Terms and Conditions section of the website, which we encourage you to read, as it includes additional useful information, including information about the person responsible for personal data protection, all purposes of data processing, your rights, as well as exceptions and limitations, etc.

The proper protection of personal data is an important objective for us. We want to be as clear and transparent as possible about our approach to this issue. If you have any questions, please contact us at office@deFlorian.ro or totteximpex@gmail.com.
2. What are cookies?

A cookie is a small file consisting of letters and numbers that will be stored on a user's computer, mobile device, or other equipment from which the Internet is accessed. The cookie is installed by a request sent by the user's device to a www.deflorian.ro server or to a third-party server.

3. What are cookies used for?

These files mainly enable the recognition of the user's terminal and the presentation of content in a relevant manner, tailored to the user's preferences. Cookies provide users with a pleasant browsing experience and support our efforts to provide user-tailored services, e.g., online privacy preferences, shopping cart, or relevant advertising. They are also used to compile anonymous aggregate statistics that help us understand how users benefit from our websites, allowing us to improve their structure and content without allowing the user to be personally identified.

4. What cookies do we use?

We use two types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files that remain on the user's device until the session ends or the application is closed. Persistent cookies remain on the user's device for a period determined by the cookie parameters or until they are manually deleted by the user.

5. How are cookies used by this site?

A visit to this site may place the following types of cookies:
- cookies strictly necessary for the functioning of the site
- analytics cookies
- advertising cookies

Cookies and/or similar technologies that are strictly necessary are essential for the proper functioning of the site and are set on your device when you access the site or as a result of actions taken on the site, as the case may be. You can set your browser to block cookies, but in this case certain sections of the site will not function properly.

The other categories of cookies have the role indicated in section 12.

6. Do cookies collect personal data?

Cookies or similar technologies do not themselves require personal information to be used and, in many cases, do not personally identify internet users. However, there are situations where personal data may be collected through the use of cookies to facilitate certain functionalities for the user or to provide the user with an experience tailored to their preferences. Such data is encrypted in a way that makes it impossible for unauthorized persons to access it.

7. What are similar technologies?

There are other technologies that can be used for the same purposes as cookies.

9. Managing preferences regarding the placement of cookies

In general, an application used to access web pages allows cookies and/or similar technologies to be saved on the terminal by default. These are stored for the periods described in the table in Section 12 below. These settings can be changed so that the automatic management of cookies is blocked by the web browser or the user is informed each time cookies are sent to their terminal. Detailed information about the possibilities and ways of managing cookies can be found in the settings area of the application (web browser). Restricting the use of cookies may affect certain features of the website.

10. Why are cookies important for the internet?

Cookies and/or similar technologies are central to the efficient functioning of the internet, helping to create a user-friendly browsing experience tailored to each user's preferences and interests. Refusing or disabling cookies may make some websites or parts of websites impossible to use.

Disabling cookies does not mean that you will no longer receive online advertising, in compliance with the law, but only that it will no longer be able to take into account your preferences and interests, as evidenced by your browsing behavior.

Examples of important uses of cookies (which do not require user authentication via an account):
- Content and services tailored to user preferences – product and service categories.
- Offers tailored to user interests
- Password retention
- Retention of child protection filters for internet content (family mode options, safe search functions).
- Limiting the frequency of ad delivery – limiting the number of times an ad is displayed to a particular user on a website.
- Provision of advertising relevant to the user.
- Measurement, optimization, and adaptation of analytics features – such as confirming a certain level of traffic on a website, what type of content is viewed, and how a user arrives at a website (e.g., through search engines, directly, from other websites, etc.). Websites perform these analyses on their use in order to improve their services for the benefit of users.

11. Security and privacy issues

In general, browsers have built-in privacy settings that provide different levels of cookie acceptance, validity period, and automatic deletion after the user has visited a particular site.

Other security aspects related to cookies:
- Customize your browser settings regarding cookies to reflect a level of comfort for you regarding the security of cookie use.

- If you are the only person using the computer, you can set long expiration times for storing your browsing history and personal access data if you wish.
- If you share access to your computer, you may consider setting your browser to delete individual browsing data each time you close your browser. This is an option for accessing websites that place cookies and deleting any visit information when you close your browsing session.
