deFlorian^®™ Set of two hemp pillowcases

deFlorian is a slow-fashion label. Made of air-enriched natural gauze fabrics, our hemp pillowcases are created with much care and love, step by step, by our family. We carefully select the right natural premium fibres. We enrich the fabrics by using our own Air Soft Technology^®. We keep the patience, slow-processing, gentle finish and attention to details, protecting the natural fibres all throughout our production process. Then, as we spend a third of our lives dreaming, we transform all of these carefully crafted steps into a perfect naturally balanced ecosystem. Soft, air-enriched pillowcases, inspired by nature, with a twist of contemporary aesthetics, that let the skin breathe easily and insure a perfect 4-season thermal comfort.

Air Soft Technology^®

At the border of hand-made and industrial, our finishing technique is unique and innovative. Our deFlorian pillowcases are made of fabrics produced with our own Air Soft Technology, an authentic Romanian technology created by us during more than 25 years of textile research. Air Soft Technology is a modern approach to the old way the Romanian peasants used to hand-weave and prepare the home-made fabrics by the river under the sun. Thus, keeping our fabrics as close as possible to their natural state.

Care instructions

For any new deFlorian hemp pillowcases set, no wash-before-wear is required as them were already been washed and steamed at the end of the production process. May be washed at 90°C - as they are made of 70% romanian hemp and 30% cotton -  we recommend not to wash them at more than 50°C, in order to keep their nice appearance and initial sizes. As we value time, we give a special attention to a light and easy maintenance, which does not require ironing. If this step is necessary, we recommend steaming at the specific cotton temperature.
